BLUE GINGER RESTAURANT KOH SAMUI
One of the real pleasures of Thailand is its delicious cuisine. Under the guidance of our renowned local chef, Blue Ginger Restaurant at Sandalwood specializes in creating authentic regional dishes with a modern twist. The menu has been designed to offer a real range of Thai flavors, from aromatic soups to the wonderfully spicy curries. Each dish is made to order using the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Blue Ginger Restaurant also serves a selection of Western menu items to appeal to our guests from all over the world.
Our Blue Ginger Restaurant is available for private catering from a romantic dinner for two in your own private villa to groups of up to fifty people. In addition to hosting larger events in the Blue Ginger Restaurant, you have access to a variety of property venues that make for wonderful cocktail and dining events. This includes the main pool and lobby area, the rooftop decks at both our spa and restaurant, poolside at our Jumpee Villa swimming pool and the balcony and pool area of our large three-bedroom Leelawadee Villa.
We are happy to work with you to design a memorable event. Our team will scour the local markets for the freshest ingredients from local seafood caught daily by local fisherman to fresh beef flown in from Australia. All feasible requests will be happily accommodated.

The Sanctuary Spa at Sandalwood is an oasis of beauty, calm and peace nestled into lush landscapes, while being only steps away from your villa. Upon entering The Sanctuary Spa, your journey will begin as you experience paradise in a tropical hideaway where the soothing aromas of natural herbs and spices complement the beauty of natural surroundings. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape from the outside world with a massage, body scrub, steam bath, facial, manicure or the latest beauty therapy.
The Sanctuary Spa is a heavenly oasis set within fragrant tropical gardens and guarantees a serene respite from daily stresses. There are two private air-conditioned treatment rooms suitable for couples and an open-air rooftop massage sala with sweeping panoramic views of the coastline and the outer islands.

Gardenia Villa
Set amidst a lush tropical garden, the Gardenia Villa fuses traditional Thai décor with contemporary style. The Gardenia Villa’s extensive glass doors and windows capitalize on the ocean views of the coastline and outer islands.
The beautiful marble bedroom features a luxurious king sized bed, 42-inch flat screen TV with DVD player. The interior living space includes a dining table and a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. There is also a kitchenette with a microwave and a stocked mini-bar refrigerator.
The large bathroom has a marble and glass shower-for-two with a massage spray and a separate overhead rain shower. The Gardenia Villa includes an adjoining guest room with a unique Jacuzzi tub and outdoor access to a tropical garden terrace with a soothing waterfall.
Jasmine Villa
The Jasmine Villa is a beautiful and romantic villa featuring two sleeping areas; a king size bed on the main level and a queen size bed in an open loft. The open loft provides a second sleeping area and is an ideal retreat for children, complete with its own flat screen TV, DVD player and air conditioning unit.

The integration of indoor and outdoor living has designated our Plumeria Villa as a favorite for couples and honeymooners staying at Sandalwood.
The wood and marble bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub with views of the ocean and a separate marble shower. There is also a kitchenette with a microwave and a stocked mini-bar refrigerator.
The interior has two sets of sliding glass doors that lead out to a wraparound balcony with sweeping panoramic views of the coastline and outer islands. The private pool area includes a covered pavilion with a dining table, two lounge chairs, two club chairs and a wicker basket swing chair.
Malee Villa
The overall feeling of privacy at our Malee Villa has made it a favorite among our one bedroom pool villas. This villa is designed with marble, granite and hardwood throughout. Extensive glass windows and doors provide a light and airy feel. This villa has sweeping panoramic views of the coastline and outer islands. The interior features Thai modern design and includes a king size bed, 42-inch flat screen TV and a sitting area with loveseat and coffee table. There is a kitchenette with a microwave and a stocked mini-bar refrigerator. The marble bathroom includes a large shower with room for two people.

The sizable pool and deck area of our Jumpee Villa provides the largest outdoor area of our one bedroom pool villas. This villa is designed with marble, granite and hardwood throughout. Amarin Villa
The Amarin Villa is a two bedroom villa with beautiful ocean views of the coastline and outer islands. The primary bedroom features a king size bed, a 42-inch flat screen TV and a sitting area with a loveseat, coffee table and armchair. The master bath includes a make-up/dressing table, a large shower and separate bathtub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, an ensuite marble half bath and is separated from the main living area by sliding doors. There is a well equipped kitchen complete with a stovetop, stocked mini-bar, full sized refrigerator, microwave and toaster.

Camellia Villa
The Camellia Villa is a two bedroom pool villa with beautiful ocean views of the coastline and outer islands. The primary bedroom features a king size bed, a 42-inch flat screen TV and a sitting area with a loveseat, coffee table and armchair. The master bath includes a make-up/dressing table and a large shower/tub combination. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and it is separated from the main living area by sliding doors. The second bedroom has an ensuite marble half bath. There is a kitchen complete with breakfast table, stovetop, stocked mini-bar refrigerator and microwave.

Lotus Villa
The Lotus Villa is Sandalwood’s largest two bedroom villa with over 150 square meters of interior space. There are two spacious floors each with their own bedroom and bathroom areas.
The main floor bedroom is separated from the living area by sliding glass doors. This bedroom has a king size bed, a 42-inch flat screen TV and its own ensuite sitting area for taking in the view. The main floor bathroom features a make-up/dressing table, large terrazzo bathtub for two and a separate marble and glass shower.
The second floor bedroom has a queen size bed, 42-inch flat screen TV and a make-up/dressing table. There is an attached modern bathroom including an indoor/outdoor shower with glass walls and 180 degree views.
The living area includes a loveseat, coffee table, daybed and two armchairs. The spacious marble and wood kitchen includes a breakfast bar with two bar stools, full size refrigerator, stovetop, toaster and microwave. There is a large round dining room table with seating for six guests.
To enhance the indoor/outdoor feel of this villa, there are four sets of sliding glass doors that open to a 40 square meter balcony with sweeping panoramic views of the coastline and outer islands. This outdoor living space includes lounge chairs and another dining table for four.
Leelawadee Villa
The Leelawadee Pool Villa is Sandalwood’s most secluded accommodation and features all of the benefits of indoor/outdoor living. Imagine yourself sipping champagne on your terrace, and enjoying one of the finest views on Koh Samui. The 40 sq. meter infinity pool is adjacent to a deck that includes a Jacuzzi tub, an outdoor shower and five poolside lounge chairs. Also connected to this pool area is a large covered outdoor balcony furnished with a breakfast table, a dining table with seating for six, a wicker swing, and a wicker loveseat.
The Leelawadee Pool Villa interior features an open floor plan living room. The western style kitchen is ready for entertaining with a fully stocked mini-bar, refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave, blender, and everything else you may need. The living area includes a couch, loveseat, coffee table and an entertainment center with a 42” flat screen TV and DVD player.
The ranch style design features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and sleeps 6 persons. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, arm chair, coffee table, 42” flat screen TV and DVD player. The en suite bathroom includes a private outdoor shower and incredible views from the oversized glass enclosed bathtub.
The second and third bedroom are each furnished with a queen size bed and a flat screen TV/DVD player. These rooms share a full sized marble bathroom with a glass wall shower.
